Where this began

I’m a Mexican-British mother living in Aotearoa, New Zealand. My professional background is in accounting, and my interest in natural health has grown through my cultural roots, my own wellbeing and caring for my young family.

Naturalise Health is where I am bringing those interests together: a learning journal and an open notebook of personal formulation experiments.

Learning through making

I have explored beetroot blush, an all-natural Mummy Balm, natural perfume and traditional Mexican shampoo alternatives. My food experiments include a chaya-leaf drink and a raw cacao drink inspired by Mexico’s cacao heritage.

I use these formulations only for myself. I am interested in what plants contain, how ingredients interact, and how careful documentation and scientific understanding can inform responsible development.

The next chapter

I am applying to study naturopathy. I want to build the knowledge needed to evaluate evidence, understand safety and develop my ideas with appropriate professional guidance.
